Worcester Firefighters Memorial 6K

Worcester Firefighters Memorial 6K returns to Worcester, and Genesis Club is thrilled to be one of the charities to benefit from this race again.  This family-friendly event is set for Sunday, June 12, with the race starting at 1 p.m. at Institute Park and finishing there, too. Also back are the free barbecue block party, beverages, clowns, moonwalk, free massages, a live DJ and even a silent sports auction at the park. The race is starting a B-tag chip system that will provide faster and more accurate timing.

History

Over the past two years, Team Genesis Club has walked and run the 6K race with about 25 members and staff.

We have established a great relationship with the Race Coordinator Lt. John Franco and thank him and the WFM6K Commitee for selecting Genesis Club. A huge part of the independent wellness initiative of our members and staff is our participation in walks and runs in Worcester County.
